i am using v3.1 and it has been fixed. It was a shader issue.

When i use a sprite as stencil and apply alpha threshold, instead of showing only the selected part it is not showing anything.
To understand better please check the ClippingNode Test in library. The Hole is not transparent, instead it is treated as black texture.
