cocos2d-x has a performance test called “Sprite Performance Test” but we haven’t documented the results.
Without those values we won’t know how fast is cocos2d-x, if we are making it slower or faster. We need that data!
We have to run all the tests, and the subtests with 500 and 1500 sprites.
We need to run them in these devices:
Since running the test manually could take a lot of time, we need to automate them:
It is important to do it in an automatic way since we need to run the “Sprite Test” many times.
We must document the results in the spreadsheet, in a new page:
