  Unable to Install the cocos2d-x application wizard to Micro Soft Visual C++ development environment 2010 Ultimate even after running "install-templates-msvc.bat" to install the cocos2d-x application wizard automatically. Unable to see Cocos2d-x in Project types Panel in Add new Project Window.

    I was able to install the project template for VS2010Express using csript ".template\msvc\InstallWizardForVC2010Express.js" in cocos2d-x root on the command line as aministrator.

    I was able to install the project template for VS2010Express using *csript ".template\msvc\InstallWizardForVC2010Express.js"* in cocos2d-x root on the command line as aministrator.

  If you wish to relocate the project/solution, i.e. save it in a location other than the cocos2d-source root directory, the instructions in this article - Relocate_VCProj-SLN - will help.

  For those who are having a hard time installing the templates to VS 2010 Ultimate, it seems that the default script is prioritizing the 2010 express installation. Try editing the batch script to make it look like this.

  echo./*
  echo.* Install Cocos2d-win32 application wizard...
  echo.*/
  echo.
  
  set SCRIPT_LOG=InstallWizardLog.txt
  set SCRIPT_DIR=.\template\msvc\
  
  if exist %SCRIPT_LOG% del /Q %SCRIPT_LOG%
  cscript "%SCRIPT_DIR%InstallWizardForVS2010.js" 
  if exist %SCRIPT_LOG% more %SCRIPT_LOG%
  if exist %SCRIPT_LOG% del /Q %SCRIPT_LOG%
  

  Then run this in command prompt as administrator. Check the message and each should tell you that templates for Visual Studio 2010 are successfully installed.

  When I ran install-templates-msvc.bat I encountered the following error "Cannot copy file (Permission denied)"
  To resolve it, changes ownship and permission of Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\vcprojects directory
  I'am using Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate on Windows 7
